On June 18th, the guild we were known as before.. no longer exists and Vindication was born.
This was not an easy decision to make given the fact like most people, I tend to get rather attached to our guild tag. However, the guild that we were was not the one that was started.. with majority of the vets gone and so many people who have taken their place since, we were essentially a new guild within a guild.
This new guild tag is to represent a fresh start for all of us and do what we used to do.. which would be.. zomg.. dare I say it.. *gasp* fun..
The night of the announcement of moving on to start over, it actually went rather well and better than I expected. I can honestly say, I did not expect just about everyone to follow and anxious to start anew. It was a great feeling to look around and see everyone waiting to sign the charter and spam for invites.. to see how many are here with us, old and new friends alike.. gives me a lot of hope of what this guild will turn out to be.. to what I want it to be.
I believe that the move we did was right, it gives us a fresh start with everyone while wiping the slate clean and now we are well on our way to having the guild we will all be proud of.. while doing what we do every night… “kicking ass and taking names..”
